About Tarp's Car Wash
Located at 3613 Round Bottom Rd, Newtown, OH 45244, Tarp's Car Wash operates as a self-service car wash serving Newtown in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Newtown, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Ohio, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (612) 801-7856. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
With 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 94 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for self-service car washes in Newtown. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Newtown is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Newtown is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Ohio's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I hate to give places low stars or bad reviews but I went here late at night expecting a 24-hour car wash. It's dark dingy. Not very clean looking very old and the one touchless car wash that you can drive through was not working out of service and honestly even for a car wash seems like a place I would not want to go but they did have self-service bays and the signs said they had good prices. I did not actually try and check that though. Honestly I hate to talk bad about any place, but I wouldn't go back here.

This was not the business. 2 dollars and 50 cents id like to get back. Had to go to another stall, and pay more finish up just rinsing the salt off my car. Id love to update this review with a smoother experience next time.

It's a nice lil local car wash with excellent prices... touchless wash of different levels $3$5$6$7 and vacuums that work great for $1 ... The wash bays are good too... its a good lil place close to dairy corner and the Growler stop.

Nice self service car wash. We use it a lot for the touch less service especially on a couple cars that have a ceramic coating. The place is always clean and you always get a good cleaning. You're in and out alot faster than the big box car washes plus you don't have to worry about your car getting scratched by bristles and brushes that touch every car that goes through it
